Gold House to Honor Sandra Oh, Ke Huy Quan, Iman Vellani, and More at Annual Gala

Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan and Emmy-nominated actress Sandra Oh will be

Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan and Emmy-nominated actress Sandra Oh will be honored at the second annual Gold House Gala in May.

Quan will be receiving the Leading Man Award for his brilliant portrayal in the award-winning film Everything Everywhere All At Once. Oh will receive the SeeHer Award, an award given to artists who advocate for gender equality, portray characters with authenticity, defy stereotypes, and pushes the boundaries on and off camera.

Ms. Marvel's Iman Vellani will also receive the first-ever New Gold Award.

The cast and creatives of Everything Everywhere All At Once will be honored with the Gold Icon Award with Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Harry Shum Jr. and producer Jonathan Wang present to accept the award. Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh received the SeeHer Award last year at the inaugural gala.

The cast and creatives of the 1997 film, The Joy Luck Club, will be honored with the inaugural Gold Generation Award for the film's cultural impact. AMPAS president Janet Yang and actors Ming-Na Wen, Rosalind Chao, Lauren Tom, Tamlyn Tomita, and Lisa Lu will be on hand to receive the award. The Gold Legend award will be presented to Panda Express co-founders/CEOs Andrew Cherng and Peggy Cherng, East West Bank CEO Dominic Ng and Tony Award-winning singer-actor Lea Salonga. Other award recipients include Netflix's chief content officer Bela Bajaria, author and trans rights activist Geena Rocero and Vanity Fair's editor-in-chief Radhika Jones.

As an ally to the API community and people of color, Eva Longoria will be honored with the Gold Ally Award for her exemplification of creative excellence and activism.

The event will be held at the Jerry Moss Plaza at the Music Center in Downtown Los Angeles on May 6th. It will also celebrate those on this year's A100 list, honoring the most impactful Asians in the community.
